This means our system is having trouble receiving video from one or more of your cameras. Theft detection may be reduced or paused on some cameras while this is happening. The most common cause is a temporary issue with the recording box (DVR). A quick restart usually fixes it in a few minutes.
How to restart the DVR
- Find the DVR.
Look for the flat black recording box. It will have cables running into it from the cameras, and a power cable.
2. Restart your recorder
. If the DVR has a physical power button (usually on the front or back), press and hold it until the device shuts down. If there is no button, it is safe to unplug the power cable from the back.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
This allows the device to fully shut down and clear its memory.
- Plug the power back in or press the power button again.
The DVR will take 1–2 minutes to fully start up. Fans may spin and lights may blink - this is normal.
- Wait, then check the Veesion app.
